About the event

Originally a twitter sensation Jake Lambert fell into a career as a comedian, promptly landing as a semi-finalist in the BBC New Comedy Award, Magners New Comedian of the Year and English Comedian of the Year among others.

I saw Jake at the 2022 Edinburgh Fringe Festival. I'd just been complaining about how it seemed that every second comedian had either lost a friend to illness or developed a disability and that I was tired of hearing their woes and just wanted to laugh for an hour, when the guy I was chatting too, said "Oops then maybe you won't like this, Jake is Epileptic". Now there is no way out of that discussion that does not make you look like an arse, especially when the show in question turned about to be one of the funniest and heartfelt of the whole week. Not only did he really make me laugh, but annoyingly much to my own displeasure, I cried at the end. Damn you Jake! Well done! So I wiped my tears and I invited him over to Switzerland.

As you'll see, I'm not the only person who rates him:

★★★★★ - London Theatre 1

★★★★★ - Reyt Good Mag

★★★★ - Chortle

★★★★ - The Telegraph

★★★★ - Three Weeks

And maybe you've seen him yourself if you're a fan of Comedy Central’s "Live From The Comedy Store" and ITV2’s "Stand Up Sketch Show" and if not you've almost definitely heard his jokes as he writes for "Mock The Week", "8 Out Of 10 Cats", The Now Show" and many more UK TV shows than you could ever imagine.

He's not alone we'll have a total of 4 comics for you, including special guest Luca Cupani.

Luca Cupani is an Italian Comic best known for being a regular guest on Italian TV show Zelig Time and his Comedy Special on Italian Amazon Prime. In English he's won the prestigous competition So You Think You’re Funny? and appears at famous clubs such as the The Comedy Store and The Glee and now he'll now be bringing his brand of arkward, self-deprecating humour to us in Switzerland.

Further support will come from Swiss Comedy Winner and dancing Latino Caro Knaack and your favourite host Shane Norton.

Don't miss out on this amazing lineup! Doors open a 19:30. Arrive early to get a drink and save the best seats.
